Statistical-Based Heuristic for Scheduling of Independent Tasks in Cloud Computing

Cloud computing is an emerging and innovative technology that used for solving large-scale complex problems. It considers as extension to distributed parallel computing. Additionally, it enables sharing, organizing aggregation of computational machines satisfy the user demands. One main goals task scheduling minimize makespan (i.e. overall processing time) maximize machine utilization. This paper addresses problem how schedule many independent tasks when using different machines. introduces two batch mode heuristics algorithms in cloud environment, high mean absolute deviation first heuristic QoS Guided Sufferage-HMADF heuristic.
